Todra Gorge, City of Orion and "Have you seen this before?"

In many years I wanted to go and visit Todra Gorge, but first this year fortunately I got the time to go there.

Already after leaving Tinerhir it began be wonderful landscape with so many palms along the road and in background I could see this high rock. I had not so good car, or it was good car but a little problem to come up the hill which was on the way. Even if it was not so high hill so the car stopped and not wanted continue. But after many attempts I managed to get the car running again.

 

One of the best things to do actually not only in Morocco is to travel by car and drive self, without any guide or driver. It is easy, almost all roads, main roads, are paved, but even those like here above it is no problem to go on.
You are flexible, can stop where and when you wish, you decide over you self and not some foreign decide over you. If you drive self you also remember best the way and you can find there next time again, while if some other drive, you never can remember how to go etc.

Shame only that there ware so many shops around, scarf and other souvenir "decorated" rocky wall so it destroyed the beauty of this Gorge. Plus they would be forbidden to park cars along the road there. 

But after a while, when I managed to be "blind" and not saw any more such I could admire the whole place.

Landscape of stars

Near Jorf on the road from Tinjdad to Erfoud is three marvelous artworks from German artist Hannsjörg Voth. To could go there was necessary to have 4x4, first I tried with normal car, but stranded so next day I came back by 4x4. It was deserted place, surrounded by hills, very nice view it was. We drove past one genuine Nomad family there living. I say genuine because they were not interested of us, not wanted we stay and take a cup of the or something like that.

 
The first one, Golden spiral "from 1992 to 1994, is defined by the so-called Golden Section: the ground plan is made up of nine quarter circles whose radii increase on the principle of the Fibonacci series, a numerical sequence in which each number is the sum of the two preceding numbers (1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, …). Each triad in this sequence produces an approximation to the value of the Golden Section. Combining the Golden Section with the Fibonacci series is a law that obtains in many natural processes."

Unfortunately it was very difficult to take a picture from above is valuable, but it was impossible and I succeeded only this picture:

The second one, City of Orion, the awesome city remind me of Akhenaten when he built his new city Akhetaten in middle of nowhere.

  

The third is Stairway to Heaven even this a fantastic work situated in the desert leading up to heaven.

 

 and close to this stairway to heaven is stairway to the hell???

Have you seen this before?

I had to finish this nice and pleasant day with an additional fine and incredible view. Never before have I seen so many camels wandering through the desert into a lake, near Merzouga. It must be hundred of them, felt it like.
